What is your institution doing about AI and startups?

The LNS Startup Café & Lab

A living startup ecosystem inside your campus — a branded physical cowork-and-build space, full access to the LNS platform for every enrolled student, faculty training, and monthly LNS mentors. The campus incubation centre, reimagined for the AI era.

For years, campus incubation meant a locked room, a committee, and a lot of paperwork — a centre that existed on file more than in life. The LNS Startup Café & Lab is a branded, living space where students actually sit, meet, and build their startups — part café, part cowork, part incubation lab — backed by the full lns.life platform, trained faculty, and mentors who show up every month.

THE HYBRID MODEL

Three layers, working as one.

A physical home, a digital platform, and real human mentorship — each making the others stronger.

PHYSICAL

The space on your campus

An LNS-branded Startup Café and Startup Lab — with LNS signage, board, and a physical LNS presence inside your institution. A real home for your student founders, not a dormant room.

DIGITAL

The full LNS platform

Every enrolled student joins lns.life with full access — CF (Conscious Friend), the three doors, Build Home, and an institution-specific community that lives online between sessions.

HUMAN

Mentors & faculty training

LNS trains your faculty to run the space, and sends LNS mentors every month for lectures, workshops, and one-on-one guidance — so momentum never depends on one person.

WHAT WE SET UP

A Café to gather. A Lab to build.

The café atmosphere
THE COMMUNITY HUB

LNS Startup Café

Where ideas are brewed and founders are made.

A relaxed cowork-and-café atmosphere students actually want to be in
Home of the institution’s startup community — peers building alongside each other
Monthly founder talks, workshops, and open-mic pitch sessions led by visiting LNS mentors
Networking, events, and demo days that make building visible on campus
Teams building in the lab
THE BUILD ENGINE

LNS Startup Lab

Where ideas become real ventures.

A focused incubation space with build stations and working resources
Structured path from idea → validation → MVP → launch, guided by CF and the three doors
Faculty and LNS mentors co-guiding teams through real milestones
Progress tracked in Build Home, so every student can see how far they’ve come
WHY IT'S DIFFERENT

Beyond the old incubation centre.

TRADITIONAL INCUBATION CELL

×A committee room that’s often locked and quiet
×Paperwork and approvals over actual building
×Depends on one or two busy faculty members
×Little community; students build alone
×No ongoing platform or mentor rhythm

FOR YOUR INNOVATION CALENDAR

Built so your IIC team can file the activity, quarter by quarter.

Universities everywhere are being asked to show real innovation and entrepreneurship activity — incubation space, mentors, events, student output — and to report it on a calendar. The Café & Lab lets you deliver on it, with the activity evidence your team can file, without building the system from scratch.

A functioning pre-incubation & incubation facility on campus
An active mentor pool (LNS mentors + trained faculty)
Ideation, design-thinking & pitch events, run monthly
A student innovation community with real, trackable output
IIC activity evidence — participation, events, and student output — compiled each quarter
A visible, brand-worthy innovation identity for the institution
FOUNDING CAMPUSES — FIRST COHORT

The weight you carry as an early partner.

The first campuses to open an LNS Startup Café & Lab don't just adopt the model — they help shape it. The 2026 founding intake is thirty institutions. When it closes, terms change. Founding campuses receive priority and recognition later partners won't:

Priority setup, ahead of the general rollout
Named recognition as a founding LNS campus
Founding-campus terms, locked for three years
Direct influence on the model and roadmap
A dedicated LNS partnership lead
First access to new doors, tools, and programs
HOW WE SET IT UP

From first call to open doors.

A clear path designed to move through a university's approval chain, at your pace. This year a campus can start with a student cohort on the platform while the Café & Lab is being set up.

STEP 01

Express interest & intro call

Email us with your institution and a point of contact. We hold an intro call and share the Partnership Brief for your internal review.

STEP 02

Campus visit & space planning

We assess your space and co-design the Startup Café & Lab layout to fit your campus and student numbers.

STEP 03

Partnership agreement & branding

We formalise the partnership and set up the LNS brand presence — board, signage, and the physical LNS identity on site.

STEP 04

Faculty training & onboarding

We train your faculty to run the space and onboard your students onto lns.life with full access activated.

STEP 05

Launch & monthly mentor rhythm

We open the Café & Lab and set the monthly mentor calendar — talks, workshops, and build sessions from day one.

STEP 06

Operate, review & scale

We run it together, review outcomes and metrics, and expand across more students and departments over time.

For your approval process

We provide a concise Partnership Brief — written in the language your innovation and academic committees already use — that your faculty or officers can carry through the process, all the way to the Vice-Chancellor's desk.

QUESTIONS

Frequently asked

What space do we need to provide?

A room or area we can shape into the Café & Lab, with basic seating, power and connectivity. We handle the design, branding, and setup. It can start modest and grow.

What do students actually get?

A physical place to build with their peers, monthly access to LNS mentors, and full access to the lns.life platform — CF, the three doors, Build Home, and the community — as part of the partnership.

What evidence do we get for our innovation calendar?

It gives you a functioning incubation facility, an active mentor pool, regular innovation events, and trackable student output. We compile IIC activity evidence each quarter — participation, events, and student output — for your innovation calendar, not a claim about NIRF rank.

Who runs the space day to day?

Your trained faculty coordinator runs it day to day, backed by monthly visiting LNS mentors and ongoing LNS support. It never rests on a single person.

How is student data handled?

Student privacy comes first, and we do not sell data. Personal content — journals and conversations with CF — is always private to the student; individual progress is visible to faculty only where that student opts in; the institution sees aggregate figures for reporting. Consent-gated by design.

What are the commercials?

We offer packages by depth of partnership — how much of the platform, mentoring and space the campus takes on. Founding campuses lock their terms for three years. We’ll walk through it transparently on the intro call — no obligation.

WHY LNS

Built by someone who has sat in your incubation room.

LNS is not a vendor pitching campuses from the outside. Nitin Jadhav left a government job to teach, built edtech ventures, ran startup and innovation programmes inside 300+ Indian colleges, and co-founded a startup university initiative in Dubai. He has watched what makes a campus incubation centre live — and what makes it quietly die.

Every founding partnership is handled by a named person at LNS, not a ticket queue. You will speak to the same people who design the programme.
